According to MGM Resorts, the Luxor and the Shops at Mandalay Bay Place will reopen June 25 at 10 a.m. On July 1, the company will reopen Aria at 10 a.m. Following Aria, it will then reopen the. On Wednesday, MGM Resorts International Properties, Mandalay Bay, Delano, and Aria reopened.

Guests entered the properties for the first time in three months.

All of the resorts closed their doors in accordance with Governor Steve Sisolack’s Stay at Home Mandate.

Nevada is now in Phase two of the reopening.

While MGM opened some gaming properties on June 4, these three remained closed.

This reopening comes amid an increase in COVID-19 cases in Nevada, leaving many concerned about the safety of being in a casino resort. MGM says they are implementing many changes to keep the guests and their staff safe.

All staff members are required to have their temperatures checked before reporting to work and they must wear face coverings at all times. MGM is also requiring guests to wear face coverings in public places.

MGM is providing face coverings and gloves for guests.

Hand sanitizing stations and signage promoting the six feet social distancing rule are now around the property.

MGM says they are also implementing enhanced cleaning protocols in line with CDC standards around the resorts.

While the pools, restaurants and casinos are open, social distancing guidelines are in effect.
